Azerbaijani citizen detained in Georgia extradited to his homeland

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Georgia has made a decision to extradite Azerbaijani citizen Elnur Gudrat oglu Suleymanov, Report informs citing the Prosecutor General’s Office.

In the criminal case investigated by the Surakhani District Police Department, Elnur Suleymanov was put on the international wanted list to be brought to justice as an accused, since reasonable suspicions were established that he had committed a crime under Articles 127.2.3 (intentional infliction of less serious bodily harm, committed out of hooligan motives) and 221.1 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.

Elnur Suleymanov was detained in Georgia and delivered to Azerbaijan accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
