The Narimanov District Court has completed the investigation of the criminal case of Ugur Mammadov (hereinafter, names and surnames are conditional – ed.), accused of fraud, Oxu.Az reports. The verdict was announced at a hearing chaired by Judge Gultekin Asadova.
According to the court’s judgement, U. Mammadov was released from criminal liability, and the proceedings in the case were terminated.
I. Hasanov filed a statement with the court, where he indicated that he had reconciled with the accused, who compensated for the damage caused to him, and he has no claims or demands against U. Mammadov.
According to the indictment, U. Mammadov, having abused the trust of his friend, the victim Imran Hasanov, gave him a false promise to bring a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe from South Korea. Under this pretext, in 2023, he fraudulently took 38 thousand manats from the victim.
