Attempt to transfer drugs to prisoner prevented

Employees of the operational apparatus of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan prevented an attempt to transfer narcotic and psychotropic substances to correctional facility No. 11, Report informs with reference to the Ministry of Justice.

Thus, during a personal search of a relative who came for a short meeting with the prisoner, 8.212 g of heroin and 4.873 g of methamphetamine in 2 cellophane packages were found.

An investigation is underway into the fact.
