Employees of the Main Directorate of Customs Control on Air Transport of Azerbaijan prevented an attempt to export gold items without customs declaration, Report informs with reference to the State Customs Committee. The violation was detected in an Azerbaijani citizen flying on a Baku-Dubai flight.
During the inspection, eight gold plates and two chains weighing a total of 614 grams were found in his shoes and on his body.
An investigation is underway into the fact.
