A 32-year-old previously convicted Kanan Gasanov has been detained in Baku on suspicion of selling heroin, Report informs citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, officers from the 8th police department of the Sabail district seized more than a kilogram of the drug with a high content of active substances from him.
The man told investigators that he purchased the drugs from an Iranian citizen, whose identity is being established, and planned to sell them for profit.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact, and an investigation is underway.
