Law enforcement agencies detained suspects in organizing the sale of narcotics in the Yasamal district of Baku, 31 kg of prohibited substances were seized, Report informs citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The detainees are 28-year-old Fagan Mammadov and 24-year-old Maharram Hasanzade. The police seized 31 kilograms of narcotic and psychotropic substances from them, including marijuana, heroin and methamphetamine.
It is reported that the detainees purchased the drugs through an Iranian citizen for financial gain.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact, an investigation is underway.
