Three people suspected of fraud detained

In the Nasimi district of Baku, two citizens filed a police report that they had become victims of fraud totaling 14,560 manats, Oxu.Az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan. Thus, as a result of operational and investigative measures, suspects in committing this crime were identified and detained – 39-year-old R. Allahverdizade and 22-year-old P. Seyidmaliyev.

A similar case occurred in the city of Sumgayit, where a local resident lost 3,500 manats. 31-year-old A. Gadirov, a native of the Guba district, was detained in connection with this fact.

All identified cases of fraud are under investigation. Law enforcement agencies are checking the involvement of the detainees in other similar crimes in the country.
