16 kg of drugs seized at the Iranian border

The import of a large consignment of narcotics into the country was stopped, APA reports, citing the State Border Service press center. As a result of operational measures, Azerbaijani citizen Allahverdiyev Huseyn Rafig oglu, born in 1989, was detained.

During an inspection of his package, marijuana weighing a total of 16 kilograms and 650 grams was discovered and seized.

An investigation is underway.
