A large consignment of contraband goods has been seized in Baku

As a result of measures taken by officers of the Baku Main Customs Administration, an attempt to illegally smuggle various goods across the customs border was thwarted, Oxu.Az reports, citing the State Customs Committee.

During an inspection of a trailer arriving from Turkey to Azerbaijan at the Silk Road customs post, undeclared goods were discovered: 864 boxes, 1,398 containers of currency, 473 units of 45 different medications, 357 units of 40 different cosmetics, 50 liters of perfume, 278 units of 11 different dental products, and 144 boxes of food supplements.
