Two suspects in drug trafficking detained

As a result of an operation conducted by officers from the Zardab District Police Department, Jeyhun Aliyev, a resident of the village of Goshaoba, was detained on suspicion of drug trafficking, Oxu.Az reports, citing the Shirvan regional group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) press service.

Three kilograms and five hundred grams of marijuana were found and seized from him.

During a separate operation, Salik Abdullayev, a resident of the district, was detained and marijuana packaged for sale was seized from him.

Criminal cases have been opened on these charges, and both individuals have been remanded in custody.
