Nightclub robbery suspects detained

Two men suspected of robbing patrons of a nightclub have been detained in the Sabail district of Baku, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The group threatened two patrons with a stabbing object and stole 800 manat from them.

As a result of operational measures, 37-year-old Emil Hasanov, a previously convicted felon, and 35-year-old Shahriyar Mammadov were detained. It was discovered that the dispute arose over payment of the bill, which subsequently escalated into criminal activity.

A criminal case has been opened under the article on robbery. The court has ordered the arrest of the suspects.
