In September 2025, measures to ensure reliable protection of Azerbaijan’s state border and combat smuggling, illegal migration, and drug trafficking were successfully implemented, Oxu.Az reports, citing the State Border Service of Azerbaijan (SBS).
It is noted that as a result of anti-smuggling measures, goods worth a total of 8,629,755 manat were identified and seized during the month, including pharmaceuticals, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products.
Border and operational-search operations continue to ensure the security of Azerbaijan’s state border.
