Drug smuggling from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented

An attempt to violate the state border from the Islamic Republic of Iran into Azerbaijan was prevented on the territory of the Goradiz border detachment of the State Border Service (SBS), Oxu.Az reports, citing the State Border Service press center.

As a result of operational and investigative measures, 22 kg 60 grams of marijuana were discovered and seized at the scene.

Investigative actions are ongoing regarding this incident.
