The Baku Grave Crimes Court has begun the trial of Aysel and Vusal Zeynalov, accused of a series of thefts in the capital. As reported by Oxu.Az, during a preparatory hearing chaired by Judge Ayten Aliyeva, their personal information was clarified. The court ruled to uphold the pretrial detention measure and sent the case for consideration on the merits.
It is noted that Aysel and Vusal Zeynalov committed thefts from homes and hotels located in various districts of Baku.
As a result of operational activities carried out by officers of the Narimanov District Police Department, the accused were detained. The investigation established that they stole gold jewelry worth 276,000 manat, 1,000 manat in cash, and two mobile phones from residents of the capital.
In addition, it was revealed that after committing the crimes, Aysel Zeynalova wore special clothing to avoid being captured on surveillance cameras.
