47 kg of drugs seized from an Absheron resident

Officers from the Main Directorate for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan prevented the sale of a large amount of drugs in Baku and the Absheron region, Report informs. During the operation in Absheron, 39-year-old Nurlan Allahverdiyev, previously convicted of drug-related crimes, was detained.

47 kg of marijuana laced with additives was seized from him.

A criminal case has been opened, and the court has ordered his pretrial detention.
