In accordance with the requirements of the European Convention on Extradition of December 13, 1957, the competent German authorities have granted the Prosecutor General’s Office’s request to extradite Ukrainian citizen Samik Babayev, Oxu.Az reports, citing the Prosecutor General’s Office press service.
Investigators have reasonable grounds for suspecting Samik Babayev’s involvement in the premeditated murder and have decided to charge him. He has been placed on the international wanted list for evading investigation.
The Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice is taking the necessary measures to extradite him to Azerbaijan.
