An Azerbaijani citizen who evaded investigation extradites from Iran

An Azerbaijani citizen, placed on the international wanted list for evading investigation, will be extradited from Iran, Oxu.Az reports, citing the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan. Iranian authorities have granted the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office’s request to extradite Ulvi Huseynov.

According to investigators, Huseynov is suspected of committing theft, which is why he was charged. He subsequently evaded investigation and was placed on the international wanted list.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Justice, specifically the Penitentiary Service, is currently taking the necessary measures to bring the accused back to the country.
