A criminal case has been opened against officials of the Goygol State Center for Agrarian Development of the Agrarian Services Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture. According to oxu.az, information about the center’s senior officials received by the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office was investigated.
As a result of the investigation, criminal charges have been opened against the officials under Articles 179.3.2 (large-scale embezzlement), 308.1 (abuse of office), and 313 (forgery in an official capacity) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
