Thefts committed detained

Thefts committed in Baku have been arrested, the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service told APA.

On November 8, a theft occurred in a market in Baku’s Sabail District. The victim contacted the police and reported that his wallet, containing 1,300 manat, $200, a mobile phone, and documents, had been stolen.

As a result of operational activities conducted by officers from the 9th Police Department of the Sabail District Police Department, the suspect, 47-year-old R. Guliyev, with a previous criminal record, was identified and detained.

Additionally, in Baku’s Sabunchu District, police detained 35-year-old T. Hajiyev and a woman suspected of stealing 4,000 manat from a home and 300 manat from a store in the district.

The investigation into the facts is ongoing.
