A fraudster who made twice as much money with one car detained

Two residents of Baku’s Binagadi district reported to police that they were defrauded while purchasing a car and lost a total of over 21,000 manats, minval.az reports, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Officers from the 7th police station in the Binagadi district detained 21-year-old E. Gulamov, a suspect in the fraud.

The investigation revealed that E. Gulamov purchased a Nissan from one of the victims, failed to pay for it, and then promised to sell the same car to another person and received money from him.

An investigation is underway.
