Police seized 28 kg of drugs

The sale of over 28 kg of marijuana laced with psychotropic substances was prevented in Sumgait, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the operation, police detained 34-year-old Turan Akhmedzade, a previously convicted felon, and his 25-year-old acquaintance, Orkhan Abdullayev. 28 kg 200 grams of marijuana were seized from them. The detainees admitted to purchasing the drugs for resale.

A criminal case has been initiated.
