A suspect in a fraud scheme involving employment detained

A fraudster has been charged in Nakhchivan, Oxu.Az reported, citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

Nakhchivan City Police Department (CPD) officers detained 38-year-old Elvin Ismayilov, who abused the trust of citizens and committed fraud against them. He is accused of defrauding five individuals at different times with promises of employment and embezzling 50,000 manat from their funds.

The CPD has opened a criminal case on this matter, and the investigation is ongoing.

Other victims of Elvin Ismayilov’s illegal actions can report them to the police.
