Smuggling of approximately 22 kg of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented

The import of a large consignment of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan has been prevented, Report informs, citing the State Border Service (SBS).

The import of a large consignment of narcotics from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented on the territory of the Goytepe border detachment of the SBS Border Troops.

As a result of operational and investigative measures, 21 kg 745 grams of marijuana were discovered and seized.

Investigative measures are ongoing.
