Smuggling of 30 kg of drugs prevented in Azerbaijan

Smuggling of a large consignment of drugs has been intercepted in Azerbaijan. According to APA, citing the State Border Service press service, border guards intercepted 30 kg 596 g of marijuana and 3,200 methadone tablets smuggled from Iran.

As a result of the operation conducted on December 3, Azerbaijani citizen Eljan Eldaniz oglu Mansimov was detained.

An investigation is underway.
