As a result of operational activities by the Main Cybercrime Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, suspects in the illegal online sale of tickets for the Qarabag vs. Ajax football match have been detained.
According to Report, the detainees, Shahin Mammadov and Huseyn Guliyev, attempted to resell tickets at inflated prices on various social media pages, as well as on the black market.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has once again urged sports fans to purchase tickets only from official retailers or online. Anyone who encounters fraudulent sales of counterfeit tickets on social media can report them to the police.
The Qarabag vs. Ajax Champions League match will take place on December 10 at the Tofik Bahramov Stadium.
