A large sum of money was stolen from a well-known store

A large sum of money was stolen from a branch of the Belaruski chain of stores, owned by AZNUR LLC. According to oxu.az, Anar Mammadov (born 1999, first and last names are conditional – ed.), who worked at the store, illegally entered the director’s office and embezzled 36,404 manat.

The man, who spent part of the money stolen from the safe on his own needs, was detained by police in the Sabunchu district. Upon arrest, he confessed to the crime.

The accused, who was found in possession of 32,900 manat at the time of his arrest, reimbursed AZNUR LLC for the remaining damages. The injured party subsequently decided not to file a complaint against Anar Mammadov.

According to the decision of the Nasimi District Court, the young man’s freedom was restricted for three years.
