Smuggling of over 24 kilograms of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented

The smuggling of over 24 kilograms of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan has been prevented, Report informs, citing a joint statement from the State Border Service and the State Customs Committee.

According to the information, as a result of border search and operational activities conducted by officers on the service territory of the Horadiz border detachment, the smuggling of 24 kilograms and 115 grams of narcotics from Iran to Azerbaijan was prevented.

Investigative measures are ongoing.
