Teymur Magerramov, Director of Marthvvood LLC, has been punished for fraud. According to Oxu.Az, investigators believe he defrauded several people by promising to manufacture furniture. The total damages amounted to 110,020 manat. He was arrested following complaints from victims. He has been charged under Articles 178.2.2, 178.2.3, and 178.2.4 (fraud committed repeatedly through abuse of official position and causing significant damage) of the Criminal Code.
The case was heard in the Narimanov District Court presided over by Judge Gultekin Asadova. During the trial, Magerramov pleaded guilty.
The court sentenced him to three years in prison. The 11 days spent in custody were counted as two days, and the final sentence was 2 years, 11 months and 8 days of restricted freedom.
