Azerbaijan extradited an Iranian citizen wanted for fraud to Uzbekistan

Azerbaijan extradited Iranian citizen Imani Ali Abdullah, who was wanted internationally for fraud, to Uzbekistan, Oxu.Az reports, citing the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR).

The wanted man was detained in Azerbaijan in 2025.

The transfer of the accused to the competent authorities of Uzbekistan took place under the escort of a special convoy from the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of the AR.
