A man was detained with 22 kg of drugs

During routine investigative operations in the Sabunchu district of Baku, 27-year-old Ilkin Huseynov was detained, Oxu.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It was reported that 22 kg 180 grams of marijuana laced with harmful substances was found on the detainee. The investigation revealed that Ilkin Huseynov had entered into a criminal relationship with an Iranian citizen, whose identity is currently being established, purchased drugs from him, and planned to place them in pre-determined locations for subsequent sale.

A criminal case has been opened. A court has ordered the detainee to be remanded in custody.
