In 2025, 14,104 crimes were committed in Baku. According to Report, this was announced at an operational meeting held at the Baku City Prosecutor’s Office to discuss the results of its work in 2025.
It was noted that the clearance rate for these crimes was 93.4%. As a result of the measures taken, 39 intentional murders and 19 attempted intentional murders committed in 2025 were solved, as well as two intentional murders and one crime resulting in death due to grievous bodily harm, which remained unsolved from previous years.
In 258 criminal cases in which the Baku city prosecutor’s office completed preliminary investigations, damages in the amount of 8 million 243 thousand 898 manats (59.6% of the total damage in the amount of 13 million 827 thousand 887 manats) caused to the state, individuals and legal entities were compensated.
