A suspect in a series of apartment burglaries detained

A man has been detained in Baku for stealing household items from homes, Oxu.Az reports, citing the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs. He broke into three apartments in the Khazar district and stole property worth 12,650 manat.

Officers from the 1st Police Department detained 37-year-old R. Demirov, who had a previous conviction and was wanted.

It was discovered that the man had been stalking the apartments and committing the thefts at night. He similarly stole items worth 9,000 manat from two apartments in the Sabunchu district.

The investigation into these incidents is ongoing.
