Main Directorate Operation: over 34 kg of drugs detected

Police officers in Baku continue operations to prevent the illegal trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances, Oxu.Az reports, citing the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result of these operations, suspects in organizing drug trafficking were detained: 41-year-old Orkhan Agamaly, his acquaintance 37-year-old Zahid Aliyev, and 40-year-old Mahir Gasimov. They were found in possession of 34 kg 450 grams of various types of narcotics.

The Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime has opened a criminal case on this matter. All three have been remanded in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
