Former Head of the Central military medical commission arrested

The Baku Military Court heard a petition for a pretrial detention measure against Rasim Hasanov, the former head of the Central Military Medical Commission of the Ministry of Defense, who was detained today, Oxu.Az reports. According to the court’s ruling, he was remanded in custody for two months and 19 days.

R. Hasanov has been charged under Articles 311.3.2 (repeated bribe-taking), 311.3.3 (large bribe-taking), 313 (official forgery), and 341.2.3 (abuse of office or exceeding official authority resulting in grave consequences) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
