More than 16 kg of drugs seized from illegal circulation

Officers from the Samukh District Police Department detained 37-year-old Heydar Guliyev, a previously convicted felon, on suspicion of drug trafficking.

According to Report, law enforcement officers discovered narcotics—hashish and marijuana—with a combined weight of 16 kilograms and 155 grams during a personal search of the detainee.

The investigation revealed that Guliyev had purchased the drugs for the purpose of sale.

A criminal case has been opened, and the court has ordered the detainee to be remanded in custody.
