The verdict has been read for a woman who committed fraud under the pretext of employment at Ege Hospital. According to oxu.az, the Sabunchu District Court sentenced N. Veliyeva, convicted under Articles 178.2.2 (repeated fraud) and 178.2.4 (fraud committed with significant damage) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to 2 years and 3 months in prison.
The time spent in custody as a suspect was deducted from her sentence, and she was finally sentenced to 2 years, 2 months, and 27 days in prison.
The case file indicates that N. Veliyeva committed fraud against several other individuals. She stole a total of 26,512 manats from the victims. The woman deceived people by promising to arrange a labor pension, disability status, remove a curse, and so on.
