28,000 manat stolen from woman’s home: her niece detained

A resident of Baku’s Khatai district contacted the police and reported the theft of 28,000 manat from her home, Oxu.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

As a result of operations conducted by officers from the 36th police department of the Khatai District Police Department, the victim’s niece (sister’s daughter), N. Nazarova, was detained as a suspect in the crime.

The investigation revealed that she stole the money in installments while living in her aunt’s apartment.

An investigation is underway.
