43 kg of drugs seized in Baku

Officers from the Main Anti-Drug Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs seized 43 kg of drugs from circulation, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the operation, Farid Akhmedov, his acquaintance Punkhan Jalilov, Taleh Sadigov, and Ruslan Huseynli, who organized the distribution of a large quantity of drugs, were detained in the capital. A total of 43 kg 500 g of marijuana laced with harmful substances was found in their possession.

The detainees planned to deliver the drugs to various addresses for profit.

Criminal cases have been opened, and the court has ordered the detainees to remain in custody.
