Former Head of Masazir Municipality detained

Officers from the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office have detained Firdovsi Jalalov, the former head of the Masazir village municipality in the Absheron district.

According to oxu.az, the former municipality head is accused of several violations, including document falsification.

According to the report, a former municipal lawyer who worked at the same time was also detained along with Jalalov.

An investigation is currently underway.
