The head of Naxçıvan Taxıl Məhsulları LLC has been arrested. According to APA, the company’s executive director, Shakir Tarverdiyev, has been remanded in custody for four months. The corresponding decision was made by the Nakhchivan City Court.
The Prosecutor General’s Office has opened a criminal case against Shakir Tarverdiyev.
He has been charged under Articles 179.4 (embezzlement or misappropriation of funds resulting in particularly large-scale damage) and 308.2 (abuse of power resulting in grave consequences) of the Criminal Code.
