A Russian citizen has been detained in Azerbaijan on cybercrime charges, Oxu.Az reports. Alexander Vladimirovich Vaysero is accused of illegally embezzling over 400,000 manat from a bank.
He was detained by officers of the Main Directorate for Combating Cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and is being investigated.
Based on the evidence collected, Vaysero has been charged under Article 193-1.3.2 (laundering of property obtained through criminal activity) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
