The trial of a man accused of fraud has concluded

The trial of Zaur Mustafayev, accused of fraud, has concluded in Baku. He promised to find jobs as teachers at various schools. As Oxu.Az reports, the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, presided over by Judge Azer Taghiyev, sentenced Mustafayev to seven years and six months in prison.
The state prosecutor had previously requested a nine-year prison sentence.
The total damages reportedly exceeded 200,000 manat. The defendant previously worked as a teacher at Baku Secondary School No. 116. He was charged under Article 178.3.2 (large-scale fraud) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
