Jewelry worth 100,000 manat was stolen from a store in a shopping center in the Narimanov district, Oxu.Az reports, citing the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs. As a result of operational activities by officers of the 16th police station of the Narimanov district, suspects in the theft were detained: 20-year-old Rafael Guluzade, 23-year-old Eshgin Samadov, 24-year-old Yusif Cherkezov, and his brother, 27-year-old Elmeddin Cherkezov.
During the investigation, some of the stolen jewelry was found and seized from R. Guluzade’s residence in the village of Amirzeidli in the Beylagan district. Furthermore, it was established that after the crime, E. Cherkezov and E. Samadov organized the sale of the remaining stolen gold.
A criminal case has been opened on this fact, and investigative measures are ongoing.
