A man accused of $412,000 fraud detained

27-year-old Sanan Asadzade, who was on the international wanted list, was detained in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, Oxu.Az reports. A criminal case has been opened against him on a total of 17 counts.

As a reminder, according to information released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in November 2025, it was established that he had committed fraud against citizens totaling $412,000. Asadzade was placed on the international wanted list.

Numerous citizens filed complaints, reporting that Sanan Asadzade had received money from them under the pretext of delivering cars from abroad, but the cars were never delivered.
