A fraud suspect will be extradited from Ukraine to Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani citizen Shahlar Jabbarov, accused of fraud, will be extradited from Ukraine, Report informs, citing the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan.

It is noted that following a request from the Ukrainian side and the submission of the necessary documents, an agreement was reached on the extradition of Jabbarov, who was on the international wanted list.

He is accused of multiple counts of fraud causing significant damage. Jabbarov evaded the investigation, was placed on the Interpol wanted list, and was detained in Ukraine.

The Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice is currently taking measures to bring Jabbarov to Azerbaijan.
