Smuggling of 38 kg of grugs prevented

On May 23, a joint operation by officers from the State Border Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Lankaran Border Detachment prevented the smuggling of a large shipment of drugs from Iran to Azerbaijan.

According to the press services of the agencies, Report informs that narcotics weighing a total of 38 kg 130 g, as well as 2,890 tablets of the psychotropic drug Methadone M-40, were seized during the operation.

Investigative actions are ongoing regarding this incident.
