A large drug seizure operation was conducted at customs

As a result of customs control measures carried out by officers of the Balakan Customs Department, a particularly large consignment of marijuana was discovered and seized from illegal circulation. According to Oxu.Az, citing the department, a truck transporting watermelons from Iran to Georgia was inspected at the Mazymgara customs post using stationary X-ray equipment.
Since suspicious contours were detected in the cargo, the vehicle was subjected to a thorough inspection.
During the inspection, using a canine service dog, packaging, concealed from customs control using a special method, was discovered at the bottom of the watermelon boxes.
As a result, a particularly large consignment of marijuana, weighing a total of 110 kg 300 g, along with the packaging, was seized from illegal circulation.
