A suspect in a car fraud scheme detained

A 32-year-old man suspected of car fraud has been detained in Baku. According to Oxu.Az, he offered to buy cars on credit, convincing people to make a down payment.

However, after receiving the money, the suspect failed to fulfill his promises and embezzled the funds.

A criminal case has been opened, and an investigation is underway.
