{"id":13603,"date":"2017-01-09T11:47:07","date_gmt":"2017-01-09T07:47:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.iolr.org\/?p=13603"},"modified":"2017-01-09T13:52:48","modified_gmt":"2017-01-09T09:52:48","slug":"azerbaijan-detains-16-foreigners-for-illegal-hunting-in-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iolr.org\/?p=13603&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Azerbaijan detains 16 foreigners for illegal hunting in 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Sixteen foreigners (citizens of the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Pakistan,&nbsp;Iraq&nbsp;and Syria) have been detained in Azerbaijan for illegal hunting in 2016, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told&nbsp;APA.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">They were detained for attempted poaching in the administrative territories of Beylegan, Imishli, Hajigabul, Bilasuvar, Khizi, Khachmaz and Guba districts and in the Aghgol National Park, added the ministry.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">According to the ministry, 193 shotguns, 632 cartridges were seized from 213 Azerbaijani citizens detained during raids in 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Protocols were drawn up on 200 detainees and they were fined 193,317 manats under the Code of Administrative Offences.
