He is accused of embezzlement on an especially large scale. He was charged under Article 179.4 of the Criminal Code.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Meanwhile, Fikret Mirzoev was relieved of his post two years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The State Security Service continues to investigate the criminal case on the facts of misappropriation in the Ministry of Defense.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Earlier, the head of the Finance and Budget Department of the Defense Ministry, Major General Nizami Mammadov, and a number of officials were arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another former head of department of the Ministry of Defense was detained, APA reports.
